It’s that time of year, when families get in their cars, grab cups of hot chocolate, listen to their favorite Christmas music, and… go THRIFT STORE SHOPPING. For what, you ask? For the most hideous, gaudy, and ugliest Christmas sweater you can find. And THIS year, Well House Church is going to celebrate Christmas that good old fashioned way! On Sunday, December 13th, find your favorite Christmas sweater, invite a friend, and join us at 9:30am for worship at the Rivergate Skate Center.

If wearing Christmas Sweaters isn’t enough, there’s a bigger reason to be a part of Sunday the 13th – We will be collecting money for our DECEMBER HOUSE PARTY OFFERING in addition to our regular giving. So, what’s a House Party? It is what we call any opportunity to serve our community. When we serve, we party!

This year’s December House Party we will be shopping for at risk families in our community on December 20th from 2-5pm.  We will be working in cooperation with Gateway Elementary School and/or other local organizations to contact families.

Our goal is the same as last year – $10,000. You can give online: …… or by using a GIVE envelope on Sunday – be sure to mark it clearly by writing “DECEMBER HOUSE PARTY” and drop it in a red GIVE box.
