Allie Wallace

Tell us a little about yourself:

I grew up in Westminster, Maryland and moved to Nashville in 2008 to attend Lipscomb University. I graduated in 2012 with a degree in Theology and Ministry and a minor in Spanish.  Currently, I am enjoying the adventure of being a newlywed. I married Sawyer “Bonesaw” Wallace in October 2014; we have been together since 2011. He teaches Bible at Lipscomb Academy and is the Assistant Director of Theater there. We love doing ministry together…most of the time! 🙂

What most excites you about Well House Church?

I feel extremely blessed to be a part of a community that wants to be a tangible presence of Jesus in this city.

What hobbies/activities/events give you life?

I love to read.  I’m a little obsessed with movie trivia and movies, in general. My friends and I always try to see the movies that get nominated for Oscars.  I love to play games (charades, anyone?), binge watch TV shows on Netflix and travel.  I am passionate about creating a safe and loving environment where children can express themselves and begin to develop into the person God created them to be. I love seeing the Kingdom of God made manifest through a child’s eyes.

Share with us your favorite scripture/story from scripture:

The book of Luke is my favorite Gospel. The work of the Holy Spirit is so active in the life of Jesus’ ministry and that’s something Luke really highlights. It also provides so many wonderful examples of the inclusive and communal nature of the kingdom of God.
